From soccer to roller derby, sport fans can follow a wide number of Portland teams throughout the year. Traditional spectator sports include the city’s NBA team, the Trail Blazers; the Portland Timbers MLS team; minor league hockey team, and also college football (Oregon Ducks and Beavers).

Many of these sporting events are held at the Rose Garden Arena and Jeld Wen Field. The Portland metro area also plays host to men's and women's professional golf tournaments.
