Nordic Naturals Student Representative
Nordic Naturals (NN) is proud to announce we are searching for a student representative at NCNM. Qualifying students will be in their second or third year, and required to present a Cover Letter and Curriculum Vitae as an application.

Responsibilities

Student reps are a direct representative of NN and should act as a professional liaison between NN and the students and faculty of NCNM.

Student reps are to be responsible for keeping NN up-to-date on various marketing opportunities at the campus, including but not limited to:

Setting up and staffing vendor fairs & other events on campus
-
Keep NN Professional catalogs stocked at all times and distribute new product announcements to students when available
-
Do on campus demos and tasting tables when appropriate
-
Take product orders and distribute products to students weekly
-
Inform NN of any Grand Round, Brown Bag Lunch, or other opportunities for NN to provide a speaker on or near campus
-
NN may ask for assistance at medical conferences that are at or near to the student rep's home. All expenses will be reimbursed, but there is no additional compensation.

Student reps will be required to place orders with their student rep supervisor via email once a week.

Communicate in person on a regular basis and build relationships with medicinary manager(s) and residents at university clinic(s) to help increase sales and new product awareness. Provide them with new product information, free samples, etc. to help ensure that NN is being adequately represented and utilized.

Coordinate “Grad Bags” - a special offer to graduating class each year to encourage all ND graduates to open NN professional accounts. This will include emailing an offer letter and also handing out the bags to all graduates.

Assist in hiring process and training of a new student rep prior to graduation. Hiring of new student reps should take place in May and training and mentoring for the new position will occur in June before graduation so students will have a point of contact during the summer months.
Compensation
-
Student reps will be required to sign the NN non-disclosure agreement and fill out a W9 for tax purposes.

Student reps will be treated as independent contractors and will be compensated with a monthly stipend of $300 for their efforts.

Student reps receive a 20% discount off the wholesale price and free shipping on all products ordered. Therefore they can make a 20% profit on all student sales.

Business cards, email address, toll free ordering number and any available marketing materials and samples will all be made available to student reps at no cost.

Student reps will be set up with a Net 30 account for all orders which should be paid monthly once funds have been collected from students for orders placed.

Acting as a liaison with key students, administration and faculty on campus

Advising the company of opportunities for timely and effective campus promotions to the students

Priority One is Seeking a NCNM Student Representative to Begin in the 2013-2014 School Year!
Priority One’s mission statement “Never trade your morals for your goals,” will be mirrored in the student that will be selected to represent our company. We believe those who compromise what they believe in to satisfy their goals wind up dissatisfied with their accomplishments. In everything we do at Priority One we keep in mind this simple statement. We know that integrity brings both ourselves, and our client’s satisfaction.
Position Requirements:
-
Each student representative must be in contact with Priority One by email (written contact is necessary for our records) by the 4th day of every month, giving a description of your plans for that month, along with any other information that may have been requested by Priority One.

Provide information regarding upcoming school functions, vendor days, graduation dates, or any items of interest from alumni and the medical community.
-
All vendor fairs and product fairs are mandatory to staff booth.
-
Once a year mandatory staff booth with a Priority One representative in a local convention in your area.
-
Provide assistance for quarterly lunch and learn seminars, including helping coordinate speakers, bring in lunch, be knowledgeable on P1 products presented.
-
By the 4th month of your hire date, have a general knowledge of most products.
-
Know what products are currently being used in the Medicinary and be able to recommend additional P1 products for use, provide guideline as to requirements of your school in order to introduce more products to your Medicinary.
-
Learn about five new products each month.
-
Distribute 15 catalogs monthly.
-
Distribute samples to students.
-
Facilitate two functions each month (vendor fair, raffle, table in hall and hand out samples).
-
Provide scheduling of events and dates of functions with at least four weeks’ notice so that supplies can be sent accordingly.
-
Provide answers to questions regarding product, take orders and distribute orders, within a timely and orderly manner.
-
Provide training, material and assistance up to two months for a new student representative.
-
Provide list of all graduating students including ND, DC, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine and distribute graduation packets as per your school guidelines.
-
A monthly email by the 4th of each month updating of what you plan to do for the month.
-
Write one researched article per scholastic year on our newsletter topics.
-
Write one researched information sheet on a Priority One product that is submitted to you per scholastic year with references per our guidelines.
-
Write half page every two months to be inserted in our newsletter about what is going on at your college, research being conducted, clinical observations (what outside physicians would be interested in that have graduated from your college).
-
Minimum sales requirements for your school based on an average of last year sales (which will be submitted to you).
-
Each year your contract will be reviewed and updated, subject to rehire for the next year.

You agree to be a sole representative of Priority One Nutritional Supplements Inc. unless other arrangements have been made.
-
You will be required to receive packages at your home from UPS and send packages back by call tag from UPS.
-
You will be required to drop your monthly returns to a UPS depot in your area.
-
If you miss more than two weeks of school consecutively, due to vacation, traveling, etc. this will be considered a non-paid month and your travel dates must be submitted to Priority One by email.
All student representatives are paid for the months of September through June, $400 monthly before taxes. September is when we will be sending you supplies. A W-2 will be sent at the end of each year. July and August are considered OFF months, with no paycheck for those months.
