Scholarships for Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Students

The 2015 nuherbs Co. Scholarship Program will award three scholarships to aid students of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in their studies. 

  • nuherbs® Scholarship–$2,000

  • Herbal Times® Scholarship–$1,500

  • Jade Dragon® Scholarship–$1,000

The eligibility requirements are as follows:

  1. A current student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0**

  2. Attend a participating ACAOM accredited acupuncture school.

Submit a completed application, including an essay to Jeaneth Villegas in the School of Classical Chinese Medicine (not the Financial Aid Office as indicated on the application) by Monday, April 20, 2015. Applications submitted to nuherbs Co. directly will not be accepted.

Essay Question

The essay question for 2015 is: "What aspect of traditional Chinese herbal medicine do you find most fascinating and why? How would this aspect be shared with others, either in your daily life or your practice of TCM?"

About nuherbs Chinese Medicine Scholarship Program

Reintroduced in 2007 this industry first scholarship program initially ran from 1999 to 2001. Through this scholarship program, nuherbs Co. has pledged its ongoing support to the future of Chinese Medicine and this beautiful heritage of healing.

**You must be enrolled in an ACAOM accredited school at the time of the application. You also must plan to attend the Fall 2015 term. Students graduating Spring or Summer 2015 or entering Fall 2015 are not eligible. You do not need to provide transcripts with your application. By processing your applications your schools are verifying that you have the requisite grade point average or its equivalent at schools that do not issue letter or number grades.
