Originally from: Bossier City, Louisiana Reason I love working at NCNM : I enjoy working at NCNM because of all the wonderful students, faculty and staff I get to work with everyday. Piece of advice for prospects in the medical college search process: Medical school is a challenging four years, or more. Choose a place that you feel most comfortable and supported. Favorite literary genre: Sci-Fi Favorite TV shows: Curb your Enthusiasm and Battlestar Galactica Favorite way to travel: Portland is known for great public transportation. I currently enjoy taking the bus. Favorite way to procrastinate: When I’m not at work, ESPN online. Favorite places to spend time in Portland: Portland is known for its amazing neighborhoods. I currently spend Saturdays urban hiking to various neighborhoods and exploring dog parks, farmers markets, art shows, restaurants and live music. My favorite neighborhood is Hawthorne. I like the cheap movie theaters and cafes, and my favorite breakfast place is Cup and Saucer. The one thing I want to accomplish in the next several years: Perform at an acoustic open mic. A random fact about me: I used to be an archaeologist. |
