Piece of advice for prospects in the medical college search process: Listen to that place within that knows what is best for you; ask questions; interview doctors in the field; talk to current students; visit any school you are serious about; know what the prerequisites are; ask for help if you need it; have your spelling/grammar checked – not just by “spell check”; remember to laugh and breathe deep; savor the process. Favorite literary genre: Creative nonfiction Favorite TV shows: I don’t watch TV much. When I do, I like shows like National Geographic, dance, theatre, documentaries, etc. Favorite way to travel: Casual stroll Favorite way to procrastinate: ? Favorite places to spend time in Portland: Any place with my granddaughter – Mt Tabor Park, farmers markets, art galleries, etc. The one thing I want to accomplish in the next several years: Contentment!
