Portland offers a multitude of urban amenities but the outdoors is right in our backyard. Forest Park, the largest forested area in the U.S. situated within city limits, offers multiple hiking and biking trails. Nearby destinations include the Pacific coast, Cascade range (including Mount Hood, Mount St. Helens, Mount Rainier, Mount Bachelor), Columbia River Gorge and the high desert. Outdoor enthusiasts rave about the hiking trails, windsurfing, mountain biking, snow sports and campgrounds.
