Our ideal housemate is one who consciously nurtures themselves and their environment, loves peace and contemplation, and enjoys the company of and communication with fellow companions on this intriguing journey we call life. Also, she or he is health-conscious, vegetarian, and is fond of gardening and nature. You would be living with seven other responsible, mature adults - four males and three females. All of us lead busy lives - four students, one teacher, and two actively retired. Our seven-bedroom/three-bath home is situated in a countrified spot in the city - convenient to freeway, shopping, transit center, library, etc. but also -- and even closer to - Woods Park trailhead which is practically at our doorstep. The house is cuddled by towering evergreens and other kindly species. It is tranquilly isolated from the hustle and bustle and very private for a city location. The atmosphere is great for studying, meditation, writing - but also stimulating conversation if you want it. Rent would be $450 with a year's lease or $475 month-to-month. Included in rent are utilities and high-speed internet. Excellent references are required. We are looking for a non-smoker who has no pets.
