Endeavour College (Australia) is seeking a dynamic person to lead, develop and expand the Department of Chinese Medicine across our six campuses. Offering a BHSc (Acupuncture), the College is poised to develop graduate qualifications in Chinese medicine. The successful candidate will have an objective and broad understanding of the various schools of thought within Chinese and Asian medicine. They will also be committed to the exceptional delivery of the entry level Bachelor degree as a foundation for future practice and professional specialisation. Reporting to the Director of Education, the Program Leader is responsible for recruiting, leading and developing the department academic staff to deliver engaging courses in Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training (TCM Massage An Mo Tui Na). Responsible for the planning, design, development, of new courses as well as the delivery and ongoing evaluation of existing courses, the Program Leader also oversees the selection of educational resources and development of assessments to enhance learning and ensure learning outcomes are met. Required minimum qualifications: Masters qualification in Chinese Medicine 10 or more years of clinical experience Graduate qualification in higher education 5 years higher education teaching experience PhD qualified applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. A history of professional contributions to the field will be highly regarded. This is a 2 year contract with a view for extension at the end of the tenure. This position may be located at any of our campuses. This position requires a working with children check and must be obtained at the successful applicants own expense prior to appointment.
