Needed: Quality, trained MIDWIVES in the Grande Ronde Valley, Northeastern Oregon, Union County. Ready for a change? We need midwives that provide evidence-based care and informed consent. Please do not come otherwise. Union county has one hospital, located in La Grande, that does not support midwives, nor VBAC, and a cesarean birth rate of 42%. We need more choices, and better care from our midwives. Must love nature, seasons, locally raised food, a fabulous community of artists, young families, and positive folks. Note, this is not a job recruitment--you must be willing to start your own practice. I am a doula here, and would be happy to talk.
