Naturopathic & Acupuncture Clinic (Downtown Portland)

Compensation: commensurate with experience

We are offering a position for a motivated and skilled individual to coordinate patient services, as well as office management and front desk reception for a downtown Naturopathic, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine clinic offering primary care and complementary medicine services.

The following are requirements for the position:
-Organized, pro-active, and calm with a warm, friendly, and balanced demeanor
-Available 28-35 hours per week
-Knowledge and/or experience with Naturopathic, Acupuncture/ Chinese Medicine and/or Integrative Medicine
-Sincere interest in the medicine we practice
-Caring and compassionate
-Understanding of and able to coordinate and deliver patient-centered service and care
-Able to provide stellar customer service
-Experience working in medical office
-Experience with practice management software and electronic health records
-High executive functioning
-Organized, systematic, proactive
-Strong communication skills, verbal and written
-Comfortable with internet technologies, microsoft word, excel
-Familiarity with insurance billing procedures, insurance benefits, and general office accounting
-Precision and care in details of communication, organizing, financial transactions, coordination of health care provided to our patients
-Ability to multi-task and hold detailed work in a larger context of “the big picture”
