Come join us for the inaugural Portland Functional Medicine Meeting. We are pleased to welcome James Wilson, ND, DC, PhD to present “Hypothydroidism – Pharmaceutical Treatment and Interrelation with Adrenal Fatigue.” Dr. Wilson has lectured extensively to practitioners around the world and is acknowledged as an expert on endocrine imbalances and their impact on health, including the effects of stress on adrenal function. We are so happy to have Dr. Wilson as our featured speaker!
Key Learning Objectives
By the end of the lecture, attendees should be able to:
1.Develop an understanding of factors that affect thyroid hormone production activity when considering prescribing thyroid hormone.
2.Understand the criteria for prescribing thyroid hormone, which hormone and how to use them separately and in combination.
3.Understand the relationship between thyroid hormone and cortisol and what to consider when prescribing either.
