Cost: $12 per drop-in class or $40/month, payable to the instructor at class.
This qigong class is for students who have experience and for students who are just beginning their practice. As a group, we will deeply explore the Jinjing lineage of qigong, learning walking and moving forms, as well as standing and sitting meditation. This is a great opportunity to stay connected to a regular practice while enjoying the support and power of a group. The intention is to create individual and group healing, deepen self-awareness, and connect more consciously to ourselves and the elements of the earth. You are invited to come and experience what can happen when you work with your body’s qi (vital life energy) through the art and science of qigong.

What is Qigong?
Qigong (chee-gong), translated as “to work with vital life energy,” refers to Chinese therapeutic exercises used for thousands of years as powerful promoters of physical health, emotional well-being, intellectual clarity and spiritual development. Our classes are based on “forms” passed down through the Jinjing Gong (tendon and channel qigong) tradition, an ancient healing lineage which combines specific movements with focused breath, sound and visualization to reestablish harmony and health at all levels of being. |
