NCNM Community Clinics


In conjunction with other agencies and as a member of the Coalition of Community Clinics, NCNM offers low-cost medical care delivered by naturopathic physicians and Chinese medicine practitioners at many sites around the Portland Metropolitan area.

Each year our 14 community clinics handle approximately 17,500 patient visits. We receive many letters from patients at these clinics thanking us for their treatment and improved health.

Immanuel Senior Community Clinic

Located in inner NE Portland, this clinic provides primary health care with an emphasis on family and senior health, but all community members are welcome.
 

Mercy & Wisdom Healing Center
Tuesdays from noon – 4:00 p.m. with Dr. Nicholas supervising
Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with Dr. Brusewitz supervising

Mercy & Wisdom Healing Center provides primary health care services to medically underserved populations, and also serves as an educational institute to teach the public how to achieve and maintain health physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The clinic offers naturopathic, Chinese and conventional medical treatment to address acute and chronic conditions.

New Columbia Opportunity Center

This north Portland clinic provides services to the local community and surrounding areas. All are welcome at this clinic for primary care. The #4 bus stops right in front of the clinic and there is plenty of free parking.

Portland Community College Sylvania Community Clinic

Located in southwest Portland, this clinic is the only health service provided on campus. It is the largest of the three PCC campuses, serving approximately 26,000 students annually. The clinic also serves the staff, faculty and community members in the neighborhood.
 

Portland Community College – Workforce Community Clinic

This northeast Portland clinic provides primary care to the community and assists dislocated workers and Steps for Success in training to re-enter the workforce.
 

 

Volunteers of America / In-Act Clinic

Located in northeast Portland, this clinic provides care via a comprehensive outpatient program for first time offenders with drug and/or alcohol addictions. We provide primary health care to the community as a whole. A specialty  of this clinic is women's gyn exams.
 

 

Wallace Community Clinic

Native Asian community support center. AHSC’s mission is to bridge the gap between Asian and American cultures in an effort to build a better community. The center’s vision is to reduce health disparities and increase access to high-quality health care for all Asians.
 

Central City Concern Recovery Center (CCCRC)

Out-patient treatment for addiction recovery. CCCRC uses a multi-disciplinary approach and evidence based practices – tailoring for each individual a combination of medical care, acupuncture, mental health counseling, peer mentoring, education about the disease – and drug-free housing.
 

Hooper Detoxification Center

The Hooper Center provides a 54-bed, sub-acute medical detoxification program which involves 4-7 days of medical treatment for early withdrawal symptom and counseling. It also performs a significant public service with its outreach and sobering programs.
 

Immune Enhancement Program (IEP)

For the immune compromised. Treatments at IEP are intended to be an adjunct to standard medical care that is received elsewhere. IEP is a medical specialty clinic where adjunctive therapy for a limited group of disorders is offered; this includes: cancer, HIV infection, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis C, and pain syndromes.
