Bio

Dr. Peabody has been practicing naturopathic medicine in Washington County for two decades. She received her doctoral degree from NCNM in 1988 and had a small private practice in rural Washington County for several years. Dr. Peabody works with people of all ages and with a myriad of problems, though she likes to say that she doesn’t treat diseases, but treats people.

Dr. Peabody teaches classes as well as overseeing students on several teaching shifts at various community clinics in the community. Dr. Peabody has been teaching at NCNM for over 15 years, and through her work here has provided much needed medical care to thousands of people in underserved populations.

Getting to know Dr. Peabody:
I'm a fifth generation Oregonian who spent the first part of her adult life as a piano teacher and now is a proud `Doctor Grandma' to two marvelous growing boys.

Birthplace: Redmond, Oregon

High School: Redmond Union High School

Activities: Growing up: raised on a cattle ranch, could ride horse before I could walk; animals, sports and books were everything. Now; grandkids, yard, house and books (specifically the Bible).

Music: classical, piano (years of playing and playing around) and guitar solos; sometimes Christian, soft rock, blues, some jazz and even secretly some country.

Community Service: State of Oregon's Rural Health Coordinating Counsel for nearly 20 years.
