Donate to Helfgott Research Institute

As a Helfgott donor, you can take pride in the knowledge that you are part of a community of forward-thinking individuals who believe in the power of prevention and the wisdom of holism.

Here, your dollars can make a sizable impact. Don Helfgott, Inspiration Software co-founder and the donor for whom NCNM's Helfgott Research Institute is named, said he chose to make a contribution because he saw a chance for his investment to make more of a difference than it would at larger, standard medical research organizations. “This is virgin territory,” he said, “a major opportunity for people to fund lasting and meaningful research.”

Our plans for Helfgott include significant growth (our vision). As we develop, we need your help. Here are some ways you can contribute:

Training future investigators

The Helfgott Research Institute seeks to foster creativity and critical thinking in its student population base: the NCNM community. It is our way of creating a full circle approach to health and healing.

Our laboratory could always use a few items, as we are exponentially increasing our research projects. A real simple way of donating to Helfgott is though our equipment program:

  • $250 buys a pipettor.

  • $2,500 buys an incubator.

  • $25,000 buys a -80 freezer and power supply.

  • $250,000 buys an 8-laser flow cytometer.

Students are the next generation of research and are building the base for natural medicine. Our goal is to have standing scholarships:

  • $500 supports student research for one year.

  • $1,000 helps with student tuition.

  • $5,000 supports our summer internship program.
