Symposium for Portland Area Research on Complementary and Alternative Medicine (SPARC)

SPARC is Portland's own conference on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) research. It's a unique environment where researchers, clinicians and students from different backgrounds and disciplines gather to learn about recent research.

Due to the May 2012 International Research Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health conference taking place in Portland, SPARC will not be held in 2012, but will return in 2013.

The International Research Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health conference will showcase original scientific CAM research through keynote and plenary sessions, oral and poster presentations, and innovative scientific sessions. Areas of CAM research presented and discussed at this conference will include research in basic science, clinical research, methodological research, health services research, and education research.
