Morgan B. Schafer has a BS in microbiology from Northern Arizona University and a MA in biochemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She has researched in various fields from chemical engineering, environmental analytical chemistry, and protein engineering. Before coming to NCNM she directed an environmental testing lab using various techniques to verify samples to control pollution levels. Her interests are in environmental health, sustainable practices, and community support.
