Jeremy Mikolai, ND Resident, Adjunct Faculty

Jeremy Mikolai is a naturopathic physician and 2010 graduate of the National College of Natural Medicine. As a medical student, Jeremy was involved in research into the effects of the Ayurvedic medicinal plant Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) on the human immune system; along with his research team, he published and presented nationally on that topic. As a research fellow, Jeremy will continue to investigate and publish on the effects of Ashwagandha as well as help to launch a clinical investigation on the effects of Co-enzyme Q10 supplementation in myopathies.
Jeremy’s passion is cardiovascular medicine. Along with his fellowship, Jeremy is completing his residency in cardiopulmonary and family practice medicine at the Center for Natural Medicine and NCNM. During his research fellowship, he will use the data and understanding gleaned from his previous research endeavors to design and implement a study on the treatment of microvascular disease. |
