Adjunct Faculty, Nutrition Program
Dr. Hoda Kiama is an adjunct faculty member in the Master of Science in Nutrition program. A 2000 graduate of NCNM, she practiced Naturopathic Medicine for 12 years in New Mexico before returning to Portland in 2012. In addition to her family practice, Dr. Kiama taught Nutrition, Botanical Medicine and Homeopathy at the University of New Mexico, Los Alamos and at Northern New Mexico College in Espanola, New Mexico. In 2006 she helped develop the curriculum of the first Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Health Studies which was developed at Northern New Mexico College where she taught for six years
Dr. Kiama has extensive media experience, having written articles on health and nutrition for various publications. She had a radio show on health and naturopathy for several years in Santa Fe, NM and has lectured throughout New Mexico. Nutrition being one of her great passions, she volunteered for many years with Kitchen Angels, a home meal delivery program focused on healthy, whole foods meals for house-bound patients.
Dr. Kiama currently has a family practice in West Linn with a focus on auto-immune disorders and chronic fatigue. Nutrition, Botanical Medicine and Classical Homeopathy remain her healing modalities of choice.
