Helane Wahbeh, ND

Assistant Professor

Dr. Helané Wahbeh is naturopathic physician and clinician researcher. She is an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University in the department of neurology.  Her research focus is on mind-body medicine, specifically researching how mind-body medicine affects the body. She recently received a grant from the National Institute of Health National Center for Complementary and alternative Medicine to study the mechanism of mindfulness meditation in veterans with post traumatic stress disorder. Dr. Wahbeh graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2002 and continues to play an active role in natural medicine research.
