Dr. Colbert completed her medical training at the University of the West Indies, her specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Ohio State University, and her NIH post doctoral research fellowship at the Oregon Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Her previous studies in the field of natural medicine research include an evaluation of the effects of a magnetic mattress pad for fibromyalgia patients and the electromagnetic properties of acupuncture points and meridians. She is currently the principal investigator for the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Static Magnetic Field Therapy study.
