Bio

Dr. Sheryl Estlund is a naturopathic physician who is experienced in treating a wide variety of patients. Her areas of expertise include:

● Minor Surgery
● Physical Medicine
● Pain Management
● Dermatology
● Emergency and Acute care

Dr. Owen has a special interest in ensuring adequate access to health care for the underserved and uninsured patient population. She has been running clinic rotations and supervising student interns at NCNM's community clinics and at Natural Health Center for four years. 

She completed her undergraduate work at University of Oregon, majoring in psychology, sociology; with a minor degree in gerontology. Prior to attending NCNM, she worked in the mental health field for five years focusing on counseling and case management in the geriatric population.

Dr. Owen graduated from NCNM in 2003 and subsequently pursued a three-year residency in general medicine. In addition to serving as a clinical adjunct faculty member, Dr. Owen coordinates the NCNM residency program where she supervises local and distant residency operations. In addition, she works in private practice at Northwood Health Center.
