July, 2008

Thank you to our vendors, patrons and community for your support and attendance at Whole Life Market (WLM) this summer. The launch of our Market has been a wonderful realization of months of planning and hard work. Under consideration of several factors, combined with vendor feedback, we have elected to temporarily suspend Whole Life Market from its current every-other-Sunday schedule.

This is not the end, but merely the beginning of an evolution for WLM. Whole Life Market will remain very much alive, and this fall National College of Natural Medicine will host a “Harvest Festival” themed Whole Life Market to occur in October. More details will follow soon. This event will end the 2008 WLM season, and we plan to return next summer on a regular schedule.

We are re-visioning the logistics to grow and evolve Whole Life Market next year. Our goal is to increase visibility of WLM, attract more vendors and potentially hold the Market during a weekday. There are some exciting developments happening on our Campus, and we strongly believe these changes will support the growth of Whole Life Market.

Should you have any questions about the hiatus of WLM please contact Nora Sande, NCNM Bookstore Manager, at nsande@ncnm.edu or 503.552.1531.
