NCNM's Fourth Annual Garden Gala: 50 Shades of Green

Thursday, June 26, 2014
5:00 – 9:15 p.m.
NCNM Min Zidell Healing Garden, 049 SW Porter Street, Portland
Directions

Andrei Codrescu

An evening with Andrei Codrescu
poet, novelist and commentator

Celebrate his immense work – some 40 books of poetry, novels and scholarly essays, his gifted commentary for NPR’s All Things Considered, and his Peabody Award from PBS for Road Scholar.

We chose our tongue-in-cheek theme “50 Shades of Green” to enunciate NCNM’s  environmental friendly medicine. Our physician and students live in harmony with nature; through their practice they sustain its sacredness, are dedicated to protecting mother Gaia, and embrace connecting that knowledge to patients and to the healing of all living things.

NCNM will honor companies whose eco-friendly leadership in the field of “green” is exceptionally praiseworthy. All proceeds from the Gala will benefit NCNM’s master campus plan to grow many flowers, plant medicinal herbs and gardens and to support the environment. Health begins with planting one plant at a time!
