Thanks to a generous donation from Bob & Charlee Moore of Bob’s Red Mill, NCNM opened Charlee’s Kitchen, its first teaching and research kitchen, in 2012. Located in the newly renovated Helfgott Research Institute and Community Education Center, Charlee’s Kitchen fills both academic and community roles, including hosting FAME classes taught by Chef Ken Gordon, among others.
Murdock Trust joined in support of the Helfgott Institute’s capital improvements, challenging NCNM to raise $155,000 in matching funds in addition to their generous donation.
All proceeds from tonight’s Gala will be matched by the Murdock Trust to benefit NCNM’s Helfgott Research Institute and Community Education Center, and programs in Charlee’s Kitchen.
