Bowenwork® Module 1 – Muscle and Connective Tissue Therapy

Pratiti Fullerton, RBI, LMT
Saturday & Sunday, October 24-25, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. — 6:30 p.m.
NCNM, Physical Medicine Room 304

BOWENWORK® MODULE 1
Bowenwork® is a unique approach to stimulating the body's natural healing ability. It involves gentle and highly effective movements on muscle and connective tissue. These movements prompt soft tissue release sending neurological impulses to the brain. Because the impulses travel through the internal nervous system pathways, they stimulate whole brain responses, which address every system in the body — internal organ systems as well as musculoskeletal structure.

In Module 1, students learn the Core Procedures of Low Back, Upper and Mid-Back, and Neck, plus the Kidney and Head Procedures. The Core Procedures form the foundation of Bowenwork®. You will be able to start incorporating them into your practice as soon as you finish this first module.
