This six-week course introduces the basics of natural alignment that are essential for easy movement and freedom from tension and pain. We will learn how to sit, stand, bend, walk, lift, carry and sleep in ways that develop a return to genuine strength, easy flexibility and enduring comfort found in a natural “home base” of support.

The alignment of our bones has far more influence on how we age than has been previously understood. Healthy aging is not just about a nutritious diet and adequate exercise, but also maintaining the natural framework of skeletal support that promotes efficient functioning of all the body’s systems. All healthy babies discover this natural alignment of bones when learning how to stand and walk. Adults who never lose this alignment enjoy great freedom of movement that does not require effort or struggle, but is simply a by-product of a normally active life with an aligned skeleton. Seldom seen in this part of the world, such naturally aligned people are found in certain rural places where small women easily carry heavy loads on their heads without developing spine problems or degenerative conditions, and where people in their 70s, 80s and beyond often age with flexible joints and great ease of movement.

The exciting news is that almost anyone can now learn to find the support of aligned bones for more comfortable, pain-free living.
