Overview: "Chinese Medical Astrology: A Systematic Introduction" May 24-26 (9:30am-5:30pm each day). This pioneering 3-day workshop will present, for the first time in the U.S., the highly sophisticated model of Chinese constitutional and medical astrology as researched and synthesized by the West's leading authority, Professor Manfred Kubny (University of Berlin). In this workshop, Professor Kubny will convey the foundational system of knowledge (e.g. the relationships between the heavenly stems, hidden heavenly stems, and earthly branches) needed for the composition and interpretation of individual "bazi" charts in the Chinese eight pillar system. This course will prepare attendees for a more advanced seminar series in which the constitutional knowledge will be applied to a changing environment, such as the propensity for and the resolution of medical weaknesses at specific times in one's life cycle.
About the speaker:

Manfred Kubny is also educated in the history and theory of Chinese medicine, especially the Daoist longevity techniques, the Chinese psychology of space, commonly known as Feng Shui (“Wind and Water”) and the strategic system of Qimen Dunjia „The Mystic Gates and the Hidden Yang-Wood“
