Water Pipe Drilling on Campus—Impacts to Parking

The Portland Water Bureau will disrupt our quiet campus as it begins drilling to upgrade water pipes on and around campus. We regret the inconvenience and potential delays this may cause our community. Please note that NCNM has no control of this construction work; it is scheduled and engineered by the city of Portland.

Questions on how to best reach our campus during this construction? Please call our reception desk at 503.552.1515.

Construction Plan

1)  SW Hooker Street (see pink area in map)

There will be no access to or from SW Naito Parkway or SW Naito Frontage Road during this phase. Vehicle access to the Administration Building parking lot will be maintained, including access for delivery vehicles.

  • Please note that some street parking on SW Hooker will be taken by the construction zone.

2)  The entire block of SW Hooker, from Water to Naito Parkway
(see blue & pink area in map)

  • The entire block will be closed while the pipe installation work occurs next to NCNM. .

The Portland Water Bureau will be in close contact with NCNM to provide updates and progress reports during construction.
